TRACK NO. 21 A, B, C AT THE BUSINESS CENTER OF THE CONTAINER TERMINAL WITH A BRIDGE OVER THE OVERFLOW CHANNEL OF THE ŠKOCJANSKI ZATOK
Due to the increased throughput, which is still on the increase, the investor wishes to increase the capacity of the container terminal. The basic design and detailed design project was made to extend the track group from no. 24 to 22 for two additional tracks no. 21a and 21b on the south side of the group. The connection of the two tracks to the existing network will be via the switch No. 101, which is moved to track No. 1f and continues with the track parallel to the existing No. 25C over the new bridge over the Škocjanski zatok to the switching area. The new bridge is designed as an integral, prestressed reinforced concrete construction with prestressed prefabricated beams and an “in situ” reinforced concrete plaque. The length of the bridge is about 55 m.
